I recently had a dental implant done with Dr. Lloyd Hoffman, it was my first time, I never had an implant before. Little that I know, an implant takes a bit more time than what I thought and it’s an expensive procedure. It’s all worth it, if fits in your budget. During my first visit to Dr. Lloyd I appreciated the professionalism of Dr. Lloyd and his staff. They explained things clearly and let me know what to expect. They answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The office made things easier with any part that the insurance can cover, they provided me a tax receipt, which I didn’t even know that this can be claim on my taxes. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman for dental implants. I was originally worried about having an implant, but after talking with Dr. Hoffman, he gained my trust quickly with his experience and knowledge. The procedure went really well and there was minimal pain. I just had my 1 year post-procedure checkup and the implant and gums are perfect. Dr. Hoffman and his staff are very efficient and caring about what your needs are. Had a gingival gum graft done, my procedure was very successful. He brought my front gum up by 5-6mm. Healing was quick and painless.

Just had my final follow-up examination with Dr. Hoffman. This was my second implant to replace teeth cracked by night-grinding. Contrary to my original expectations, the whole process was nowhere near the medieval torture experience I was expecting. From the initial extraction, to the drilling of the newly grafted bone and the insertion of the hardware, I experience no pain other than a little initial soreness. The bone graft took spectacularly well, and there was no recession after the process was completed. Before the procedure Dr. Hoffman uses well designed computer graphics to explain the whole process, and keeps you updated all the way with clear explanations. As a special treat, he takes you down to his dental man-cave in the office basement to show you an amazing 3-d rendering of your jaw. Dr. Hoffman is a consummate professional, but also warm and friendly with a great sense of humour, which made visits actually enjoyable. He genuinely cares about the overall health and well being of his patients. The rest of his team are similarly both professional and personable. Just had some more gum surgery. Had some done in the fall with Dr. Hoffman that went quite well (just like this one). After 2 weeks, there is no sign of palette tissue removal. I could not be happier with the work. My gums are beefier and healthier. Do not wait for your dentist to recommend gum surgery. Take Charge and go straight to a periodontist (Dr. Hoffman is a great choice). Now is a great time during social distancing and mask wearing for recovery. Dr Hoffman has floor to ceiling glass doors, open windows and 3 air purifiers around the surgical chair along with all other precautions. I have great confidence in his work. My gums have retained 100% attachment. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Hoffman.

I had my second gum grafting surgery done on October 23rd by Dr. Hoffman . Once again it was a very easy procedure . After receiving the local anaesthetic I didn’t feel a thing on the roof of my mouth or where the grafting was placed . I ended up taking 2 pain killers later that day and that was it ! I did have some bruising but because you have to wear masks everywhere it wasn’t a problem :) The way Dr. Hoffman takes the graft from the roof of your mouth is very simple, he stitches it up and it was healed in a couple of days. I will be having my next one done as soon as possible !!

20 years ago I had a good fortune of being referred to Dr. Hoffman. He is extremely knowledgeable, highly experienced and dedicated to the patient’s needs. He always takes time to explain process of procedure. Always gives a follow up call after a surgery. Based on my personal experience I’ve received the best care for my dental needs. Office staff is supportive, caring and friendly. The office itself looks impeccably clean. During my recent visit I found all COVID 19 precautions were taken. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Dr.Hoffman and his team over the past 2 years when I was referred to his practice for gum recession. Being in my 30’s and in a profession where first impressions matter, it was important for me to put my “best smile” forward.
